Senior Systems Engineer
Good environment. No work pressure(it depens on the project). Good rapport with colleagues. E n R training is superb. No company can match it. Even after you into production, you can get the support from E n R dept. So you would not feel aliened when you are put into different technical project. Opportunities are there for technology change.
First and foremost is the crap certification policy and linking it to promotion. No matter how much hard work you put, your promotion is based on your certification compliance. No company can come near to such stupid policy. You should be a manager's pet sometimes. Else onsite oppurtunies is a dream here. IBU transfer is a biggest challenge for you, because of that you may miss many onsite/career opportunities.
